Laura Christiansen

Laura Christiansen is an IP Paralegal with extensive experience in U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution. At Alliance IP, she supports attorneys in all stages of filing, prosecution, and maintenance, including preparing and filing applications, amendments, assignments, information disclosure statements, petitions, powers of attorney, and trademark maintenance documents, as well as liaising with clients, the USPTO, WIPO, and foreign associates.

Before joining Alliance IP, Laura worked at a national general practice firm with a substantial IP group. She began her career as a receptionist, moved into office management, and discovered her passion for intellectual property while assisting legal staff. She advanced to legal assistant roles in IP, litigation, and transactional matters, eventually specializing in IP as a paralegal. Laura has over ten years of experience managing both small and large domestic and international IP portfolios.

She holds a B.A. in English Literature, summa cum laude, from Western New England University. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs.
