Our Culture

At Alliance IP, we’ve built a law firm culture that combines flexibility, connection, and excellence. As pioneers of the low-overhead “virtual law firm” model, our founders leverage technology to give our attorneys and staff unmatched work-life balance while delivering ultra-competitive rates to clients. Team members can work from anywhere in the U.S., without set billable hour requirements, which allows us to attract top talent from tier-one IP firms and in-house departments—and take on work from some of the world’s most sophisticated clients.

Our Team

But we’re not your average virtual firm. Despite being scattered across the country, we’re a close-knit team. We nurture connection through informal bi-weekly “huddles,” where conversation ranges far beyond legal matters, and through our annual in-person retreats in cities like Washington DC, Phoenix, Denver, and Dallas. These retreats are more than events—they’re a cornerstone of our culture, helping us build trust, collaboration, and camaraderie that keep us strong no matter where we work.

Prior in-house counsel, litigation, litigation support, and/or inter partes review (IPR) experience are preferred. We are also interested in lateral attorneys who bring a modest book of business.

Lateral Patent Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced, inventive patent litigator to join our team and play a chief role in leading the growth of our litigation practice group, which includes attorneys with experience as patent litigators at some of the country's top litigation firms, including Fish & Richardson, Finnegan Henderson, and Baker Botts.
