Doug Dallmann

Doug combines deep technical knowledge with extensive legal experience to help clients protect and grow their most valuable innovations. Beginning his legal career at a prominent IP firm in Portland, Oregon, Doug worked with a diverse range of clients—from solo inventors to global technology leaders—handling patent preparation, prosecution, opinions, and litigation support. Returning to Intel Corp., where he started as a circuit designer, he managed large patent portfolios spanning software, data centers, networking, and more, filing hundreds of patents annually and guiding strategic decisions to maximize portfolio value. His broad background covers cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, semiconductor devices, and medical devices, enabling him to translate complex innovation into strong intellectual property protection.

Outside the office, Doug is passionate about the outdoors—having summited Denali and Kilimanjaro and spent months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail—and has traveled to over 30 countries, enriching his global perspective. He also enjoys photography, international travel, and supporting colorectal cancer causes.
